History was made on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, as we embarked on transforming 100 lives through free graphic design training. Transforming lives through knowledge.
We held the long-anticipated second edition of the TURNING ADDICTION INTO A CAREER (TAIAC 2.0) Campaign. Attendees were introduced to graphic design, their identity as graphic designers, elements and principles of design, and trained on how to use the Canva design application. We had exercises like sketching, designing, quizzes, and courage examinations. These exercises were predicated on our uniqueness at Bezalel Design Academy. We believe the best designer has a rich mind, excellent at doodling his or her ideas, and is bold to exhibit them. Attendees were also taught about the Introduction to Social Media Marketing.
At Bezalel Design Academy, we pride ourselves in simplified and structured training. Attendees were also provided with a free branded sketchpad to doodle their ideas, with curated affirmations for creatives in it, and they were well-fed. Online follow-up sessions were organized to mentor the attendees and ensure they made the most of this training. We all have a responsibility to build the community or nation we desire and impart the future. We are grateful to God and our partners for the success of this edition. Thank you to all the team members, co-facilitators, and volunteers for such an excellent and successful event. We look forward to further collaborations that will avail us the opportunity to reach more lives, increase the quality and ease of imparting, provide prizes, and create a more exciting event.
